Modelling of transport of neutrons and photons in research reactors by means of the Monte Carlo method (MCU-RR)

Abstract:

MCU-RR is designed for simulating the transport of neutrons and photons by means of analog and nonanalog Monte Carlo methods based on evaluated nuclear data in systems with three-dimensional geometry, taking into account changes in the isotopic composition of materials.
It can be used for the calculation of neutron-physical characteristics of research reactors and critical assemblies, storage of fissile materials.
The program is written in standard Fortran-77.
Program is parallelized and can be installed on a multiprocessor computer systems ("clusters").
